Very excited to announce that our students won an Honor Award from the National ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects) for our partnership research with Calumet City. Our ambitious design project is part of an IL/IN Sea Grant to develop more effective and resilient research-based design responses to the issue of urban flooding in the Chicago-Calumet. Kudos to the amazing students! - and to the dedicated community partners and collaborators who have been pushing this work forward! The recognition from ASLA fuels our momentum as we move into pilot phase of the research!
